Indy ref two has a piece up covering the yes app and detailing meetings and costs for the Gathering for training and better communication between yes groups very informative read.

https://munguin.wordpress.com/

Munguin’s new Republic has three separate pieces up two on photography with photographs from the past and some soppy photographs for Sunday and a cryptic comment regarding Arlene Foster.

James Kelly has a quick peruse of Panelbases latest poll for The Times and what it means for Scottish politics. He also continues his spat with Pete Wishart who has apparently blocked him. Jason Baird of the national yes registry has a guest piece detailing the ins and outs of the first gathering for training and communication for Scottish yes groups. The oldest of the four pieces covers the results from the recent Highland by-election giving James a chance to have a wee prod that the Liberal Democrats.

Stuart Campbell of Wings over Scotland has an article he put out on a Sunday which I think it’s quite unusual for him covering the truth about the SNP’s tax increases and the problems certain Unionist newspapers have in understanding the winners and losers in the tax process. There is of course the usual weekly cartoon (he’s not on holiday). Oh and of course a wee mention of the final results of his crowdfunding spree.

https://weegingerdug.wordpress.com/

Samuel Miller continues his sterling work on behalf of wee Ginger dug who is still on holiday I presume. With a piece questioning why the Scottish government is held to be to blame for Scotland’s economic performance apparently lagging behind the UK. He has a few questions for Mr Mundell Westminster’s man in Scotland.

https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/

Mr Murray has been pretty busy lately what with having to do the work of all the journalists in the UK in regard to the attack in Salisbury. However he finds time to post the unpublished video interview he had with Kay Burley of Sky News, and a very short piece on the kind of courage it takes to walk unharmed to a fence positively bristling with the latest armaments available and last but not least he has a sarcastic poke at Boris Johnson. I think he is entitled to a little indulgence.

https://petewishart.wordpress.com/

Pete Wishart has a piece up ‘we must conduct our debate with respect’. He’s been getting pelters on Twitter from some of the yes movement who are less than enamoured with his stance on the timing of a second independence referendum. Please read this because it clarifies one or two points including the fact that he has not actually suggested a date for a second independence referendum he is more concerned with the alignment of opinion regarding the timing of a second referendum amongst the voters. Towards the end of the article he also holds out an olive branch be nice if everybody took it, and maybe he could unblock a few of the people who disagree with him, from his Twitter feed.

Talking up Scotland, Prof Robertson discusses Nicola Sturgeon’s responsibilities to bring up human rights on her upcoming visit to China, has a brief look at the Labour Party’s willingness to support the Tories at council level, points out that Scotland’s new technological start-ups outpace the UK by 18% and informs us that Edinburgh is poised to make significant advances in mental health research unparalleled in the UK. Maybe not all good news but as ever he does his best to point out the best of Scotland.

https://grumpyscottishman.wordpress.com/

Grumpy Scottish man has three blogs up, his first revolves around the timing for a second Scottish independent referendum and the dangers it could present to the SNP for the future. In his second piece he discusses elitism at our leading universities in Scotland and finally the third piece of the weekend is about social media and the information that can be gathered about you.

https://grousebeater.wordpress.com/

Grouse beater has a review of a ‘quiet place’ if you’re a horror movie fan you’ll enjoy the read. His second piece I find more interesting and to my taste ‘Scotland the rogue nation’ a skip through our marshal history, maybe to point out to his critics that he has spent some time immersed in our history.

https://randompublicjournal.com/

Random public journal goes into detail about the reasons for a quick call from the SNP for the next independence referendum, this is a good read and gives sound reasons for an early start to campaigning. We Will all, am sure all have different views on this, and I think regardless of what date is announced we need to be cautious and well-informed before making our own views known.
